constantly changing my hairstyle and color so, who knows, you might see

Answer: Aww thanks! It's so
important to me that I maintain contact with my fans because I wouldn't be
anywhere without them. I know that sounds corny, but I honestly mean
it.
Also, how do you feel about the obvious increase in your popularity?
Answer: It's pretty crazy. The support has
been absolutely amazing but I'm not quite used to people recognizing me in public.

to buy?
Answer: Thank you so much! I would love to be able to
buy a house for myself and also for my parents. They have supported me so

My favorite was Italy because of the architecture and overall ambience.
My favorite cities are Venice and Rome.

Question: How do you decide which song you are going to sing each audition?
Answer: I try to pick songs that will fit my voice and that vary in
sound. I like to change it up from week to week and show my
diversity.

Question: Why are you called Bshorty, is it because

Answer: haha thanks! I came up with
Bshorty with one of my best friends. We were
inspired by the guys in 311 and their nicknames. I came up with it before
my first solo gig. First it was Blake the Beat Box Boy then MC Bshorty and then just Bshorty.
It also had to do with the fact that I was shorter than everyone else!

Question: When you answered the questions for your page on the American Idol
site, one question was "What other talents do you have?" You answered
"Photography, songwriting, producing, characters kisser." Well, I've
got some questions about your answers.
What exactly is a "characters kisser"?
Answer: there was supposed to be a comma between 'characters' and
'kisser'. I was just joking around and they put it in anyway.
What songs have you written?
Answer: I've written many songs. Some of my most recent are:
Emotional Waterfalls, Four Letter Word, Dumpty
Humpty, Jealousy, and She Loves the Way.
What have you produced?
Answer: I've produced all of my own solo works.
Do you have a link with pictures you've taken?
Answer: Nope, but that's a good idea for the future!

Question: Hey it's ":)" again! I changed my "name" to
"la musique." Oh, and "la musique" means music in French. Interesting how music
is feminine.
Do you speak any foreign languages? If so, which ones and what's your favorite
foreign language?
Answer: Nope, I don't speak any foreign languages, but I did take
German in high school.
What are your fave sports and do you play any sports?
Answer: My favorite sports are football and soccer. I don't
play either anymore. Although, I did play in junior
high.
What is your pet peeve(s)?
Answer: people who just blurt out anything without
thinking about it first. J

Answer: Photography, skydiving. I collect hats and
shoes. I have over 300 hats. I have tons of great memories and my
family and friends are special to me.

keyboard/guitar; fire and water; comedy/tragedy masks; and sun/moon/star.

in... um Germany. lol. And I'm trying to spread the Blake love around
here, although it's hard when no one knows what "American Idol" is. lol

1. Have you ever been to Germany and/or do you plan to come to Germany (again,
perhaps on tour) ?
Answer: Yes, I've been to Germany and would love to travel there
again.
2. Do you personally, have any "favourites"
among the other contestants in the show right now ? Is
there like one or two people who you definitely think will be the runner-up ?
(since you're gonna be the
winner anyway, duh. lol)

Answer: I think it depends on who America likes. But for
girls I like Gina the best and for guys Chris, Chris, and Brandon.
3. Do you think I'm weird after those weird questions ?

Answer: I would love to have the opportunity to tour. I'll

Answer: Thanks! The best advice I've received so far my friends and
family is to stay grounded throughout this experience. I've got a great
group of people around me from back home who will make
sure that happens! They also like to remind me how important song choice

Answer: If I wasn't on
the show I would be working on my CD and performing around the Northwest.

Answer: I consider how the song will fit my voice
and if it will show off my diversity.

the day, what is the one thing that you'd want people to take away from a
performance of yours or know about you as a person?
Answer: That I had fun and that I'm being true to myself. I
want them to want to get a sense of me and my music and to get to know me.

Answer: a friend of mine encouraged me to tryout and I thought I'd
give it a shot. I've been trying to stay true to myself the entire show

Answer: Sure! I love those colors. Well, I guess
white's not really a color, but you know what I mean. J

Answer: Thanks! No one's ever done an original song on Idol

didn't really know what to expect since I'd never seen the show (until this
